According to Heavy, Mike Tyson told the Impaulsive with Logan Paul podcast that he was arrested 40 times before the age of 12 while growing up in Brooklyn. He said that he committed “burglaries, pick-pocketing, snatching jewelry… One-punch knockout and then go in their pocket, robbery.”
Tyson once revealed that he spontaneously got the tattoo done and did it because it looked cool. Furthermore, Tyson revealed that he initially wanted to get hearts as a face tattoo but changed his mind at the last moment. As such, Tyson decided to instead get a tattoo that could represent his fierce spirit, and he chose this tattoo.
In the moment, it was reminiscent of a scene in the movie “Not Another Teen Movie” where the quarterback threw up a pass that landed nowhere near where it needed to be. If you’re unfamiliar (or want to have a good laugh), then I would recommend watching this scene so you can have a better understanding of my reference. As a bonus, you get to see Chris Evans and Mr. T on screen working together. Bet you didn’t think you’d ever see that pairing on the big screen.

Over the past few days, as it’s seemingly become more and more likely that Tyson Bagent will lead the Bears offense against the Raiders, we’ve heard a lot about why the team is confident that the undrafted free agent rookie quarterback. They love his work ethic. They love his dedication to being completely prepared for any challenge. They love what he brings to the locker room as a teammate. All good, but all off the field traits.
In April, Joyce’s mistake was to rely on his fabled iron chin, and this allowed Zhang to take control and get the stoppage; in the rematch, Joyce had no faith in his chin and Zhang was dismissive and then concussive. It was a bad finish, a single punch and down went Joyce in a heap. He regained his feet, but the count was over. His career is now in chaos.
The Bears simply can’t play a normal football game. And we got that reminder right before halftime of the team’s Week 7 win against the Las Vegas Raiders when the team called on its backup (technically, third-string) quarterback to throw a Hail Mary pass at the end of a half of football. I’m still flummoxed thinking about how Tyson Bagent wasn’t given a shot to chuck that pigskin deep. Guess the NFL script-writers forgot to fill that page in, which left Bears Head Coach Matt Eberflus to improvise on the spot.
After a rare victory, the Bears sunk back to their usual spot in the NFL pecking order as a sad-sack franchise worthy of scorn. Even by the low, low standards of the Chicago Bears — the charter franchise of your discontent — that really was a slog, wasn’t it?
Theoretically, they could take USC’s Caleb Williams and North Carolina’s Drake Maye, the two favorite quarterbacks out there. The Bears could stockpile backup quarterbacks until somebody — anybody — shined through.
But it wasn’t until years later that Tyson discussed the tattoo while chatting with sportscaster Jim Grey on his podcast that Tyson revealed his reasons behind getting the tattoo. When asked by Grey why he got the tribal tattoo Tyson replied, “I don’t know. I was supposed to do it earlier. Put this tattoo, I wanted a tattoo on my face. I was gonna put a bunch of hearts on my face, there’s a bunch of little hearts and my friends are like, no I am not gonna do anything whack like that.”
While the outcome of the case was not precedential, Perry’s comments were the first time that a government official commented on the copyrightability of tattoos. They were also significant in drawing a distinction between the tattoo’s design and application. Despite the case settling, it prompted further discussion of the topic and speculation as to how the case might have proceeded if it had gone to trial.
Parker (34-3, 23 KO), the younger man by eight years, has won four straight since his own unfortunate run-in with “The Juggernaut.” A four-fight 2023 saw him take a decision over an unexpectedly game Jack Massey, demolish a pair of overmatched foes in Faiga Opelu and Simon Kean, then cap off the year by cruising past Deontay Wilder last month.
“I would like to thank the fans in China,” Zhang told DAZN via a translator. “I successfully took his right hand away. I blocked a lot of punches, but, hell yeah, he punches hard, and I give him a lot of respect.
Caleb Williams’ regular season debut is in the books. It wasn’t what we hoped for, but it wasn’t the world’s end. For all that went wrong, there were plenty of teachable or easily correctable moments and many things Williams did…
Zhang (27-2-1, 22 KOs) blasted home a heavy right-hand shot to the jaw of Wilder in the fifth that forced him to spin 180 degrees into a corner. Quick as a flash, another right landed flush and the American just melted to the canvas and lay flat on his back. Always brave, “The Bronze Bomber” found his feet, but the referee had no choice but to wave the fight off.
